Mighty River Power has engaged Cheal since 2004 to provide professional expertise in civil design and contract management, geotech investigations, reporting and construction setout and precise level monitoring. These activities have been for all of Mighty River Power’s drilling programme to ensure accurate and timely delivery before the drilling rig reached each site.
Cheal was engaged as part of that project to design and manage the construction of each drilling pad, water supply from the Waikato River and remediation when finished. Cheal brought expertise and technical ability to the Nga Awa Purua project, and built strong working relationships with our internal team.
