History

Laurie Cheal established a small surveying practice in a vastly different Taupo in 1940. The continual evolution of the organisation and services we provide over the last 70 years has seen Cheal become the partner of choice across much of New Zealand. Today, as an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices in Taupo, Taumarunui, Ohakune and Feilding, Cheal offers extensive expertise across the fields of Engineering, Surveying, Planning and Health and Safety. The innovative yet practical approach, problem solving abilities and professionalism of our team is what makes us leaders across many sectors with specialities in Geothermal and Energy Development, Infrastructure, Property and Land Development and the management and development of Maori assets.
